The team began by stripping out the original, rotten iron pipework and cast iron radiators, boilers and gas pipework. Next, the team looked to renew the 180kw boilers on rig with plate heat exchanger. Lastly, installing the in-house welded and screwed iron header. It was then on to distributing pipework, with copper heating services, and installation of 60 radiators. 

Undertaken in school summer holidays, the team had limited time for the sheer amount of pipework distribution involved, and expected - the biggest obstacle being building works going on alongside our project. Nevertheless, the team had the job completed in 3 weeks, 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
